So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Measuring traffic
To measure our traffic, we can use the Prometheus query sum(rate(requests[1m])).
We can measure the rate at any given interval. Configure this rate in a couple of different ways and see which is most conducive to your system's requirements.
