Sometimes, you may need to block access for a particular user. Depending on the nature of your application, you may want this to take effect immediately or soon after you block the user. If you need it to happen quickly, you could do one of two things:
The first method might question whether it makes sense to even use this approach at all, but if you have a lot of requests, connecting to the authentication service only once every 30 seconds versus every request might make a big difference.
