It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
What to test?
We do not need to test everything with multiple services. Perform testing on what needs to be tested because it depends on another service. You will notice that you will naturally want to avoid making services depend on each other too much; take note whenever you do need to and write functional tests for those cases.
