So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Reentrant safety and signalling
There is an important-to-understand issue during signal handling, when working with reentrant-unsafe (also called async-signal-unsafe) functions within a signal handler.
Of course, to understand this issue, you must first understand what exactly a reentrant function is, and, subsequently, what is meant by reentrant-safe or async-signal-safe functions.
