When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Lets recall how signals are handled by default:
- A process traps a signal n.
- Signal n is delivered to the process (either by another process or the OS).
- The signal handler is dispatched; that is, it runs in response to the signal.
- Signal n is now auto-masked; that is, blocked from delivery to the process.
- Signal handling is completed.
- Signal n is now auto-unmasked, that is, enabled for delivery to the process.
This is reasonable: while handling a particular signal, that signal is masked. This is the default behavior.
However, what if you are writing, say, an embedded real-time application, where the signal delivery implies some real-world event has occurred and the application must respond to this ...
