I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
14 Solve Problems Quickly
We are living in a world of incredible change and turbulence. Because each person is different from every other person, misunderstandings can and will take place all the time. Personality and performance problems can arise even among the very best and most capable of people. Often these misunderstandings and problems are not the fault of the employee at all.
When a problem of any kind arises, deal with it immediately. Many problems are temporary and passing. They are caused by external events and they blow over quickly. When something goes wrong, you should call the person into your office or go and see him or her as soon as possible. Deal with the difficulty promptly, whatever it is.
