It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Wendy, my wife, has a very delicate way of letting me know when I’m out of line. She gives me a loving kick to the psyche by saying, “You’re not the CEO around here.”
That fact was clear from the very beginning of our relationship.
When she and I first met in college, I thought she was the most beautiful girl on campus. I worshipped her from afar for three years, only confessing my feelings to friends. Finally, at the local pub one night during our senior year, she caught my probably unsubtle gaze and yelled down the length of the bar, “Hey, Novak, when are you going to have enough guts to ask me out?”
