So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

While I was working on this book, my wife, Wendy, suffered a stroke.
A few months before, a sustained drop in her blood sugar had led to a severe seizure, which for someone with diabetes can be a near-fatal event. That seizure caused a cascade of other health issues and eventually the stroke.
