So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Chapter 11. Network File System administration
The Network File System (NFS) is a distributed file system that allows users to access files and directories of remote servers as if they were local. For example, the user can use operating systems commands to create, remove, read, write, and set file attributes for remote files and directories. NFS is independent of machine types, operating systems, and network architectures through the use of remote procedure calls (RPC). This section discusses the tasks that can be performed by an administrator in an NFS environment.
