I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
16.6. Invoking Documentation Search Service
You must log out and log in again after the Documentation Search Service has been configured so that you will pick up the environment variables set up during the configuration.
If you are running the CDE desktop environment, double-click the Documentation Search Service icon in the Application Manager window.
Alternatively, you can use the command docsearch to invoke the documentation search service. Your Web browser will start, and you should see the Documentation Search Service page. Netscape is used as the default Web browser for this discussion.
You can invoke the Documentation Search Service without installing the docsearch client component. You do not even need to invoke the documentation search ...
