5.3.1 List tablespaces
The list tablespace command is used to obtain information about where existing
tablespaces reside on disk. There are multiple forms of this command which return varying
levels of detail.
The base level of this command returns a list of tablespaces that have been defined to the
system. In the following Example 5-8, we are showing the results for only one tablespace. Its
name is TESTDDATA and its Tablespace ID is 4.

db2 list tablespaces show detail
Tablespace ID = 4
Name = TESTDATA
Type = Database managed space
