It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

The lsvpcfg command runs rather slowly. If you are confident that your configuration hasn’t
changed recently, you can get much of the same information by querying the AIX ODM
database directly, as shown in Figure 6-13. This is done by using the odmget command.
