So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

2.1.5 Considerations for using the IMPORT command
The IMPORT command imports resource and descriptor definitions from an RDDS or the
repository and uses the definitions to create the runtime resource and descriptor definitions in
the online IMS system. Therefore, the same rules and restrictions that apply to the CREATE
commands for databases, programs, routing codes, and transactions also apply to the IMPORT
command.
The IMPORT command can be issued only through the OM API.
This IMPORT command applies to DB/DC, Database Control (DBCTL), and Data
Communications Control (DCCTL) systems.
The IMPORT command is not valid on the extended recovery facility (XRF) alternate,
