It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

If the batch job detects the failure, it issues the new DFS2404A message:
DFS2404A AN ERROR WAS ENCOUNTERED WHEN ACCESSING THE COUPLING FACILITY. STRUCTURE
xxxxxxxxxxxx RSN yyy
The reason code in the message is used to identify the type of failure that occurred when the
batch job attempted to access the structure.
With this enhancement, you can rebuild OSAM and VSAM cache structures while your data
sharing batch jobs are executing. You might run this task to address coupling facility failures
or to move structures between coupling facilities for reconfigurations. In previous versions of
