So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

2.4.2 Description of the /DIAGNOSE command
The /DIAGNOSE command SNAP function provides a non-intrusive way to capture IMS
resources and control blocks. Using this command can decrease the time needed to generate
problem determination data.
The /DIAGNOSE command SNAP function takes a current snapshot of system resources at any
time without negatively impacting the IMS system. The SNAP function of the /DIAGNOSE
command captures storage information and shows information about the issuing LTERM.
Optionally, the resource information can be sent to either an OLDS or trace data sets as type
X'6701' log records.
