I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Continuous Delivery defined
CD, as we mentioned earlier, aimed to extend the implementation of CI. This way, a software system remains in a releasable state. This is accomplished by combining mainline development practices, Continuous Integration automation a set of automated provisioning and deployment solutions (to pre-production environments), and automated testing.
In a Continuous Delivery oriented organization, deployment pipelines are created to help implement the previously listed solutions. An example of a high-level deployment pipeline is shown next:
