So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Web サイトを閲覧するとき、Web ブラウザのアドレス欄に入力するような http や https
で始まるアドレスを URL と言い、Web サイトの 場所を指 定するために使われる。このよう
に位置（Location）を表す URL に加え、名前（Name）を示す URN があり、最近では
これ らを 合 わ せ た U R I という呼 び 方 が 使 わ れ ることが 増 え て いる 。

URL におけるスキーム名
URL は http や https で始 ま る こ
とが多いが、これがスキーム名で
あり、他に ftp や mailto、le など
が多く使われる。この指定で適切
なアプリを起動できる。
FQDNとの違い
URL のうち、www.shoeisha.co.jp
のようにホスト名とドメイン名
を繋げた部分をFQDN と言い、イ
ンターネット上でWebサーバー
の場所を特定できる。

字と小文字を区別しないが、ファ
