So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

第三者によるお墨付き
公開 鍵暗 号において、公 開され た鍵が 正しい相 手の 鍵であることを保証するために、公
開鍵を管理する認証機関によるお墨付きがある「証明書」が必要である。公開鍵と秘密
鍵 は誰 でも作 成できるため、信 頼される機 関の電 子 署 名 付きの 証 明 書 が 発 行されると、
安心して取引できる。この認 証機関を認 証局（ CA）と言う。
ブラウザのルート証明書
信頼できる認証局によって発行
された証明書を検証する最上位
の証明書をルート証明書と言い、
Webブラウザのインストール時
に自動的に導入されている。
オレオレ証明書の存在
公開鍵暗号による暗号通信を行
うだけであれば、自分で証明書を
発行する自己署名証明書を作成
することも可能で、オレオレ証明
書とも呼ばれる。
証明書の認証レベル
SSL/TLSで使われる証明書は、
「ドメイン認証」「企業認証」「EV
認証」という3つの認証レベルが
あり、CA による審査の内容が異
なる。
