So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Using Scriptlets
The scriptlet
element
can be
used to add a whole block of code to a page, including variable
declarations. The code block must be enclosed by a scriptlet
start-identifier, <%, and an end-identifier,
%>. Example 16-1 shows a
scriptlet that creates test data for action elements.
