I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Getting ready
To get things started, you will need to have the following items in place:
- A wireless card capable of entering promiscuous mode
- Kali Linux with Wireshark installed
Wireshark should be installed as part of your default installation of Kali Linux like it always has been. You should not have to install this software package, rather you should be able to just select it from the Sniffing menu under the Applications menu in Kali.
