I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Step three – create a new AP with the same SSID and MAC address
To create a new AP using the same SSID and MAC address, effectively cloning the good twin with a bad twin, we need to use the airbase-ng utility and assume we want to clone the network named Tarlogic from the preceding screenshot:
airbase-ng -a 60:A4:4C:69:D2:48 --essid "Tarlogic" -c 1 mon0
If the process works, you should see results like the following screenshot:
