So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

하지만 짧게 대답하면 아니다. CSP와 온프레미스 환경은 완전히 다르다. 이제 생각해 보자. 음, 당연히, CSP로 이동하고자 하는 이유가 온프레미스에서 제공할 수 없는 유연성, 회복 탄력성, 글로벌 수준 서비스, 경제 등 능력이나 기능을 원하기 때문이 아닌가? 이러한 것들이 CSP로 이동을 고려하기에 충분히 좋은 이유다(각각은 이 책 어딘가에서 다루겠다)! 하지만 CSP에서 워크로드를 운영하는 것과 온프레미스에서 하는 것을 비교하자면 서로 관리하는 방법이 사뭇 다르다.
로깅을 예로 들어서 생각해 보자. CSP에서 제공하는 출력이 온프레미스 하이퍼바이저(또는 관련 시스템)에서 얻는 것과 다를 수 있다. 로그를 섞을 수 있을까? 그럴 수 없을 것이다. 아마도 CSP의 이벤트를 기존 로그 형식에 매핑하고 동일한 로깅 인프라를 유지할 수도 있다. 가능하다면, CSP와 온프레미스에서 서로 다른 규칙과 자동화 또는 호출 라우팅을 (아마도) 사용할 수 있을까? 애플리케이션이 ...
