It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

DNS는 분산 환경을 사용하므로 높은 가용성을 보장하는 동시에 때로는 디버깅이 어렵다. 문제가 도메인명 해석resolving에 반드시 연결되는 것은 아니다. 그 대신에 네트워크 라우팅의 전체 그림과 클라이언트 관점에서의 패킷 흐름을 분석할 필요가 있다.
웹 사이트에 접근할 수 없다면 DNS 문제일까? 클라이언트가 방화벽이나 프록시 뒤에서 콘텐츠를 받으려고 하는 특정한 장소와 연관되어 있을 수 있다. 더 깊이 있는 분석(수사)이 필요하다. 고객이 연락할 때마다 형사가 되기는 어려운 일일 것이다.
