I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Lean is probably one of the most misunderstood leadership concepts in business, and many people would even question why I would refer to it as a leadership concept. Surely it’s a manufacturing methodology, hence why it’s often referred to as Lean Manufacturing and is the descendent of the Toyota Production System (TPS). However, this is precisely why books like Leading Lean by Living Lean, over 30 years after The Machine That Changed the World1 was first published, are so necessary.
Somehow, despite the many practitioners, academics and consultants who collectively have sought to understand, codify and teach the lessons and best practices of Lean Leadership, in my experience the majority of people still have a woefully inadequate comprehension ...
