Summary

In this chapter, we introduced you to the concept of image streams and methods of creating them, how config maps can be used to manage the configuration of your applications, mechanisms for limiting resource consumption per project using resource quotas and limit ranges, how to use templates to create multiple dependent resources, and how to configure autoscaling for your applications based on CPU or memory utilization.

In the next chapter, we will work on security in OpenShift. We will be giving you an understanding of OpenShift security implementation, which is mandatory for any production environment.
