I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Xcode Simulator
The Automatic Previewer is a fantastic new addition to Xcode 11 and is specifically for building interfaces with SwiftUI, but, when the time comes to test your application with core logic such as networking or switching between screens, you'll need to call on the power of the Code Simulator.
Going back to the device list next to the scheme bar we saw earlier, select a simulator you would like to test against and then press the play button to the left of it.
After an initial cold boot, your selected simulator will load and your application will launch automatically:
