So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Creating our first project
It's time to create our very first project! We touched on this back in Chapter 3, Building Layout and Structure, but let's take a closer look at some of the options we're presented with when creating a project and why they are important.
Let's get started by performing the following steps:
- Launch Xcode.
- Go to File | New | Project.
- Select Single View App and click Next.
- For Product Name, type My Favourite Recipes.
- Make sure SwiftUI is selected for the User Interface.
