So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Yes, they have their place and in most enterprise apps, and you'd be hard done to find random images and text labels springing around your device screen – but nonetheless, they are still widely used in app development.
Spring and Spring with Damping Fraction were first introduced in iOS 7 as part of the UI overhaul. Although the API has been around since iOS 6, it was only available as a private function that wasn't available to developers.
