When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Getting started with SwiftUI in Xcode
Let's start by opening Xcode and taking a look at how to set up our first SwiftUI project:
- Start by opening Xcode.
- Select Create a new Xcode project.
- Select Single View App.
- Finally, select Next.
Fill in the details as per the following screenshot while paying careful attention to the User Interface. SwiftUI should be selected for this:
Also, note that Team will be different – if you've not set up Xcode before, you'll need select Xcode | Preferences | Account from the toolbar and add your Apple developer ID. If you don't have an Apple developer ID, you can register for one here: https://developer.apple.com/ ...
