When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Similarities with Angular
So, what do you think so far? If we put the application's bootstrap process aside, which is a bit more involved with Angular, don't you feel like Vue is very close in philosophy to Angular? Given the background of the creator, this should be no surprise.
As usual, there's so much more to say! We could discuss web components, component slots, dynamic and asynchronous components, recursive ones, and so many other things, but we need to move forward!
Vue.js has quite a lot of tricks up its sleeve. For example, take a look at instance properties: https://vuejs.org/v2/cookbook/adding-instance-properties.html. We won't cover these in this book, but they're definitely worth learning about.
