Multiuser device configuration and deployment
In this section, we will configure AirWatch to allow a device to be enrolled for multiuser capabilities. To use multiuser capabilities, your devices must meet the minimum specifications:
- Android 2.3 and higher with AirWatch MDM Agent 4.2 and higher
- iOS with AirWatch MDM Agent 4.2 and higher
The first thing you will want to do is create a separate organization group for the shared devices that are going to be set up. Creating an organization group was covered in the Organization and Smart Groups section of Chapter 5, Mobile Device Management. Go ahead and configure a new organization group based on these instructions for your multiuser devices.
