I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Redis Desktop Manager
Redis also offers a cross-platform GUI tool called Redis Desktop Manager (RDM) which can be downloaded from https://redisdesktop.com/download. The RDM tool offers tree view, CRUD operations on keys, and an option to execute commands via Shell. Download and install the tool from the previous link. The following steps show how to connect to Redis container from RDM:
- Open RDM as administrator.
- Click on the Connect to Redis Server button in the bottom-left corner.
- Fill the connection properties as explained here:
- Name: RedisContainer
- Host: IP address or DNS name of the container host
- Port: 6379 (default port)
