So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Deploying ASP.NET Core application as Windows Server Container
The following steps describe how to add Docker/Windows Server Container features to the Music Store application so that it can deployed as a Windows Server Container. We are going to use ASP.NET Core extensibility features for building the image, creating a container, and publishing to Docker Hub by using the PowerShell scripts and Dockerfile:
- From any desktop, login to the Windows Server 2016 Azure VM, mstsc.exe, we created in the earlier chapter using Remote Desktop, or create a new one as per the instructions provided in previous chapters.
