Configure the production environment

Once we configure an environment we can use the VSTS clone feature to configure similar environments. You can assign approvers at each stage, both before and after deployment. The following process explains the process of configuring the production environment.

1. Click on Ellipses of Staging environment and then click on Clone Environment.
2. Apply pre-deployment rules as appropriate. Check the auto-trigger on successful deployment to the staging environment if you would like the deployment to pass to the next environment. However, the deployment will be on hold if the pre-deployment approver is configured. Click on Create to create the environment.
3. Name the new environment as Production.
