In looking from the outside in at my evolution as a photographer, I have made what might appear to be some big changes—from travel to humanitarian to landscape to underwater to wildlife photographer. I’ve been called a street photographer as well. Each time the moniker changed, I felt a sense of unease, both about the expectations of others concerning my work and the work itself. It has taken me years, but I am now comfortable being called a wildlife photographer.
