A frame represents something like a state of your program at a specific moment in time. It includes information about a current function that's been called and the values of local variables. The Frames tab looks like this:

The Frames pane shows a method name, parameters, a line number, the name of a class, and the name of a file. You can choose the thread that you're interested in from the drop-down list:
