I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Functional Approach
It's clear to everyone that Kotlin is an object-oriented programming language. And its large number of built-in features makes Kotlin open to different paradigms. Particularly, Kotlin follows a functional style that brings a lot of new approaches that weren't available before for Java developers.
Object-oriented programming is ideally suited for modeling domains and representing real-world objects. Functional programming can elegantly pack a lot of actions into a few lines of code. Moreover, the concepts of immutable objects and pure functions from functional programming make scaling a program in a multi-core environment much easier.
