Importing the CA into Windows

With either Firefox or Chrome, you'll import the CA certificate directly into the browser's trust store, regardless of which operating system you're running. But if you're stuck running one of Microsoft's own proprietary browsers on that off-brand operating system that's known as Windows, then you'll need to import the certificate into the Windows trust store instead of into the browser. Fortunately, that's incredibly easy to do. After you copy the certificate to the Windows machine, just open up Windows File Explorer and double-click on the certificate file.
