Performance Benchmarks

In this chapter, you are going to look at the performance statistics of different configurations that we covered in the previous chapter. Of course, the current setup does not provide you the most accurate environment because you have no control over EC2 instances, but it will give you an idea about the setup required in your own environment.

We will be covering the following topics:

• Need for a benchmark
• Performance with BLAS, LAPACK, OpenBLAS, ATLAS and Intel MKL
• Final results
