So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
UP TO and ROWS
UP TO (natural number) ROWS is used for defining a limit in terms of the number of rows that can be selected in SELECT:
SELECT carrid connid planetype UP TO 10 ROWS FROM sflight INTO CORRESPONDING FIELDS OF TABLE gt_sflight.
In this example, we will get the first 10 rows:
