I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

I don’t recall exactly why I came across his self-published book, but it struck me as intriguing that someone outside the familiar voices common to Event Sourcing and CQRS had especially useful things to say about the topics. How refreshing! When I saw the author’s name, I thought: “Huh, a Welshman living in Munich, Germany.” That compounded my curiosity. So, I contacted Alex Lawrence, and we met on a video call, where I quickly learned from his elegant German accent that he was indeed German and not Welsh. I’ll leave the rest for you to learn when you get to know him. I am certain that you’ll soon meet up with Alex at a conference or some other engagement. He has a lot to share, and here’s one of those.
