I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
On Debian/Ubuntu

Fetch the repository packages from Percona:
shell> wget https://repo.percona.com/apt/percona-release_0.1-4.$(lsb_release -sc)_all.deb
- Install the downloaded package with dpkg. To do that, run the following commands as root or with sudo:
shell> sudo dpkg -i percona-release_0.1-4.$(lsb_release -sc)_all.deb
Once you install this package, the Percona repositories should be added. You can check the repository setup in the /etc/apt/sources.list.d/percona-release.list file.
- Remember to update the local cache:
shell> sudo apt-get update
- After that, you can install the package:
shell> sudo apt-get install percona-xtrabackup-24
