So far, we have written and analysed many programs. We saw simple programs as well as application-oriented. We followed a disciplined approach in programming. A motivated professional is always “in search of excellence”. Our programs worked. However, can we call them good? Can we make them better? Let us address these questions in the following section. Many beginners consider speed and size of source code and machine code as most prominent properties of a good program. Let us examine contribution of these factors to good programs.
