When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
SUMMARY
- For writing the source code, C++ uses ASCII code.
- The unary operator (&) takes the address of the operand. The operand must be an lvalue. It must not operate on variable declared as register type.
- The operand of Unary ~ operator must be integral type and the result is ones complement of the operand.
- Hexadecimal constants start with 0x or 0X.
- Blanks, horizontal and vertical tabs, newlines, form feeds and comment (collectively called as white space) are treated as separators. They are ignored by the compiler.
- An integer constant is considered octal if it begins with 0 and consists of digits 0–7 only.
- The types “short int” and “long int” can be specified by just short and long (omitting int).
