Installing PHP on Windows with Xitami
The second-most popular platform on which to run PHP is probably Windows. I'll be demonstrating how to set up PHP on Windows 2000, but you can also load PHP on Windows 98, Me, or XP. Especially if you are running an NT version of Windows you'll most likely use IIS as your Web server application. If so, just install IIS per its own instructions (it will install from your OS CD-ROM), then follow the instructions that come with the binary version of PHP for making it compatible with IIS (I'll be going through that aspect of the installation here, too).
