Numerical Integration Schemes, Accuracy, and Scaling

In the previous two parts of this book we have covered a lot of physics. In the process we have largely managed to avoid getting into complex numerical issues. In this chapter we will focus on the important subject of numerical integration schemes and considerations of numerical stability and accuracy. Because no new physics will be presented, there won’t be any new simulations in this chapter, but just some simple code examples to test the different schemes. At the end of the chapter we also include a short section on building scale models.
