Mike Brooks, Mr. Inside Sales
Mike Brooks is a master phone script writer and author of the bestselling book The Ultimate Book of Phone Scripts. That book has been endorsed by Bob Perkins, the founder and chairman of the American Association of Inside Sales Professionals (AA‐ISP). For more than 30 years, Mike has been recognized as the authority on inside sales training and phone script development. He is a highly sought out speaker at inside sales conferences and sales conventions, and has also been voted one of the most influential inside sales professionals by the AA‐ISP for seven years running.
Mike started his career in the financial and securities industry and quickly became the top producer out of five branch offices in Southern California. Promoted to executive vice president of sales, he developed a Top 20 Percent Inside Sales Training Program that doubled corporate sales of private placements from 27 million to more than 58 million in his first year, and then more than doubled that again the next year—total revenue of more than $119 million. Mike then served as a VP of sales for other securities firms before starting his own consulting company, and is known throughout all industries as “Mr. Inside Sales.”
