So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Appendix A. Microsoft Internet Information Server (IIS)
The Microsoft IIS Service allows for HTTP and HTTPS protocol communication over TCP/IP. Microsoft IIS versions support HTTP 1.0 and 1.1 as well as ASP, ASP.NET, and many other Internet-based technologies and standards. The examples in previous chapters use Microsoft IIS Service. As long as you own a valid license for one of these products, you can install the Microsoft IIS Service by following the instructions in this appendix.
Installing Microsoft IIS
The following instructions are for installing Microsoft IIS on Windows Server 2003 and Windows Vista Ultimate.
