I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Michael Gernaey is a Senior Enterprise Solution Consultant at Microsoft, with a focus on corporate solutions using BizTalk, Microsoft SQL Server, and Visual Studio. He has more than a decade of experience at Microsoft, during which time he has designed and written many large-scale application solutions for customers. This close contact with the enterprise has made him aware of the need to provide guidance for Visual Basic programmers on how to create robust, modern, service-oriented applications.
