It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Appendix B. Microsoft File Transfer Protocol Service
The Microsoft FTP Service is a file transport server that allows for sharing and distributing files. Microsoft FTP Service is available on Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 2000, and Windows Server 2003 as used in this book for demonstration purposes. As long as you own a valid license for one of these products, you can install the Microsoft FTP Service by following the instructions in this appendix.
